There a host of external drives available for laptops, from floppy drives through to backup devices, CDROMS, writers, DVD's and DVDRW. Many are available in PCMCIA, USB and Firewire variants. We've tried to gather them all together here under one heading, so hopefully they should be easier to find! Many of these devices are also featured under other appropriate categories.
Please note laptop specific devices are listed under their own category headings, so for a Compaq drive look under Compaq spares. The devices in this section can be used with any laptop and many desktop machines.
